Everything on this page is genuine new old stock: new, unused units from surplus inventory, never installed on a machine. You get factory windings, bearings, brushes and solenoids with zero hours on them — not a reman assembled from a used core. That also means no core charge and no old unit to box up and send back. NOS supply is finite, though: when a part number sells out, it is usually gone for good, so if you see your number below or in the full catalog, it is worth grabbing.

One unit, five part numbers — search by any of them

Heavy-equipment electrics collect part numbers. The same 24V Nikko starter can carry a Komatsu number (600-813-3660), a Nikko factory number (0-23000-6510) and a distributor stock number (91-28-4016) — one unit, several labels. We have verified our cross-reference data against industry interchange records covering Delco Remy, Bosch, Denso, Prestolite, Hitachi, Nikko, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Cummins and Perkins numbering, and most listings carry the OEM number alongside the equivalents. The parts catalog search matches cross-reference numbers too — search your Delco, Bosch or Denso number even if you never knew the OEM one.

How to confirm fit before you buy

Start with voltage: most full-size excavators, dozers, haul trucks and large generator sets run 24V electrical systems, while most skid steers, backhoes and farm tractors are 12V. Then go to the numbers. The ID tag on your old starter or alternator is the surest starting point — send us every number stamped on it, plus your engine make and model, and we will run them through the interchange data before you commit.
